About My Fine Yarn

Quality yarn from natural, sustainable, cruelty free, eco-friendly, ecologically wise sources is yarn at its luxurious best! As knit, crochet and fiber enthusiasts, our time, talent, creativity, and purchasing power deserve fine, quality sourced, small mill spun, and hand dyed yarn. Our knit, crochet, and fiber work create gifts and heirlooms of beauty. Finding great yarn is at best difficult in big box stores. Life is too short to wear acrylic from oil and gas producers. Some local yarn shops (bless them and shop them!) have quality selections, but carrying a full load of inventory is burdensome. Online shopping may place great yarns from around the world at the end of a click but the experience of touching the fibers and comparing colors does not translate as well. We end up with lots of returns or very large, very expensive stashes. My Fine Yarn is here to provide a great yarn experience for clients. Our Pop-up shops showcase exquisite yarns curated from small farms and co-ops, mid-sized mills, and indie dyers. Our sample purchase program and design curating (the yarn sherpa service) gives clients a chance to touch, see and decide BEFORE purchasing for a large project. We seek out the responsibly sourced, beautifully created, and community generating fibers and yarns around the globe. For popular, economical yarns, we try to provide a sample experience allowing client to avoid overbuying when seeking out what their next project calls for. Please allow our team to work with you to search out the fibers, weights, colors and colorways to make your next project a spectacular joy. Based in Houston, Texas we connect through directly on the phone, text, email and video conferences. We are adverse to text ads, email spam, and pop up windows on the website. Watch our social media for announcements and inspirations. Peace and Yarn!
